LifeSci NYC Internship Program

A paid internship program for students seeking careers in New York City's life sciences industry.

Research Internship
The LifeSci NYC Internship Program is a paid opportunity designed to help students launch careers within the rapidly growing life sciences sector in New York City. This program connects currently enrolled undergraduate, graduate, or associate degree students, as well as recent graduates (within 12 months of graduation), with internship opportunities at prominent life sciences companies and institutions located across New York City's five boroughs. Participants, who must be authorized to work in the U.S. and reside or attend school in NYC, gain valuable hands-on experience in diverse areas such as research and development, data science, clinical trials, and business development. The internship typically lasts 10-12 weeks during the summer, with some opportunities extending or occurring during academic semesters. Interns receive competitive compensation, mentorship from industry professionals, and access to professional development workshops and networking events, all aimed at building a diverse talent pipeline for the city's life sciences ecosystem. The program is a central component of the broader LifeSci NYC initiative, a significant investment by the City of New York to foster industry growth and job creation, with a goal of creating 40,000 jobs.
