Asia Summer School: Time-series Regression for Public Health

4th Edition, 13 to 17 July 2026

Summer School
The Asia Summer School introduces research tools for examining evidence on health risks associated with environmental exposures and assessing the health benefits of mitigation policies, specifically within the context of Asia, one of the most vulnerable regions to climate change globally. This course focuses on time-series regression analysis as a key tool in public health for investigating the short-term health effects of environmental exposures. It provides an introduction to the ecological time-series design and the statistical modeling process for common environmental exposures such as temperature, air pollution, dust, and haze in Asian countries. The program is designed for postgraduate students, early career researchers, and personnel from universities, as well as researchers and practitioners working in public and private institutions across various research fields and nationalities. The course will be taught entirely in English.
