A funded summer research program for undergraduate students in Astronomy at Queen Mary University of London.
Research Internship
The Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) Astronomy Unit provides an opportunity for undergraduate students, both from QMUL and other universities, to engage with their research groups during the summer. Participants actively contribute to ongoing research across three primary themes: Cosmology & Relativity, Extrasolar Planets & Planet Formation, and Space & Astrophysical Plasmas. The programme offers funded positions, ensuring students receive a salary in accordance with the QMUL salary scale. Annually, a series of events are organized to facilitate interaction among the cohort of internship students, allowing them to collaborate, share insights on their projects, and gain practical experience in cutting-edge research within a prominent academic environment.
