Research Stay
Shenzhen University (SZU) offers the Academic Exchange Support Program for Outstanding Doctoral Students from Overseas Universities, designed to enhance the internationalization of graduate education and foster international research cooperation. The program attracts outstanding young talents to SZU's doctoral disciplines by supporting full-time doctoral students from overseas universities to conduct scientific research and collaborative research projects. Participants engage in research at SZU for a period of one year or longer, receiving a scholarship. This initiative aims to promote academic exchange and provide valuable research experience within a dynamic international environment.

Application
Criteria: Applicants must be physically and mentally healthy, of good conduct, with excellent academic performance, remarkable scientific research capabilities, and outstanding development potentials, actively participating in scientific research. They must abide by Chinese laws and university regulations. They must be enrolled in overseas universities ranking within the top 200 in any two of the world's four authoritative rankings (THE, QS, US News, ARWU). Nationality is not limited. Applicants must have completed the coursework of their doctoral program, with a preference for those who have already passed the doctoral qualification examination. Prior to application, applicants must obtain consent and endorsement from their home university doctoral supervisor and contact a cooperative doctoral supervisor at Shenzhen University. Both supervisors must demonstrate a strong willingness for cooperation, and a mutually agreed visiting plan must be drawn up. The Shenzhen University supervisor must issue a letter of commitment to accept the applicant and provide facilities.

Stipend: RMB 150,000-200,000 per year (pre-tax)
Cost: No tuition fees. Costs for off-campus housing (if applicable), personal and medical insurance, visa, and travel expenses are not covered.
