The Arcadia University London Internship Program provides students with an opportunity to gain valuable real-world experience and build their professional resume while immersing themselves in British culture. This program guarantees an internship placement within a student's chosen field of study or interest, provided eligibility requirements are met. Placements are diverse, spanning industries such as arts & culture, business & finance, communications & marketing, education, film, television & media, government & politics, health & human services, journalism, law, non-profit & NGOs, psychology, and science & technology. Participants typically intern three days a week for 21-27 hours over a 10-week period. The internship experience is complemented by academic coursework, including a required seminar/tutorial designed to critically examine the work experience and reflect on cultural differences in the workplace. Students also undertake a research project under the guidance of an individual academic supervisor, earning academic credit for their participation. Comprehensive support from Arcadia staff, including pre-departure advising, on-site orientation, 24/7 emergency support, and housing in shared apartments or homestays, is provided to facilitate a seamless international experience.
