Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU)
A summer research program offering hands-on experience in state-of-the-art facilities with faculty mentorship for undergraduates.
Research Internship
This REU-style program, conducted in collaboration with External Outreach Partners, offers undergraduates hands-on research experience in state-of-the-art facilities under the mentorship of faculty members associated with the IDEALS Center. In addition to the core laboratory work, the program includes a series of extracurricular activities designed to enhance the students' overall experience. Participants present their research results at a College-wide Poster Presentation at the end of the summer. The program shares some activities with the Columbia University-CCNY PAS3MRSEC REU and CUNY-REU programs. Students receive a $6,000 stipend for the summer and are eligible for on-campus housing if required. The program will not be held in Summer 2025, and interested individuals should check for future announcements.
